Becoming the Woman You Would Look Up To

Writer's picture: LeaLea

Have you ever admired a woman from afar and thought, I want to embody those qualities in my own life? Maybe it’s her confidence, her grace under pressure, her faith, or her ability to create a peaceful home and a purpose-driven life. The good news? You don’t have to just admire her—you can become her.

Stepping into the woman you would look up to is not about perfection but about daily intentionality. It’s about aligning your habits, mindset, and faith with the person God has created you to be. This isn’t about striving—it’s about becoming. Let’s map out how you can start walking in that transformation today.

1. Define the Woman You Admire

Before you can become her, you need to define her. What are the qualities that draw you to her?

  • Is she grounded in faith and wisdom?

  • Does she walk in confidence and purpose?

  • Is she disciplined in how she stewards her time, money, and health?

  • Does she lead with grace, kindness, and strength?

  • Has she healed from past wounds and chosen to grow instead of staying stuck?

Write down what she embodies. Then, instead of thinking of her as someone unattainable, start viewing her as a future version of you that you are growing into one step at a time.

📖 Biblical Encouragement: “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” – Proverbs 31:25

2. Align Your Habits with the Woman You Are Becoming

Transformation happens in the small, daily decisions that add up over time.

Ask yourself: Would the woman I admire make this choice? If the answer is no, shift accordingly.

Here are practical areas to refine:

  • Mindset: Start speaking life over yourself instead of doubt. (Proverbs 18:21 - “The tongue has the power of life and death.”)

  • Health: Nourish your body with food, movement, and rest that energizes and supports healing.

  • Time Management: Eliminate distractions and focus on what truly aligns with your purpose.

  • Faith: Spend time with God daily—prayer, scripture, and worship should be foundational.

  • Finances & Business: Be a wise steward, create multiple income streams, and build wealth with integrity.

3. Invest in Your Growth & Healing

One of the biggest self-sabotages I see is when women allow their past to define their future.

  • Past wounds, failures, and limiting beliefs can hold you back if you don’t actively release and replace them.

  • You are not your diagnosis, your childhood pain, or your past mistakes. You are a woman actively healing and stepping into wholeness.

This process is a journey, and it requires intention. That’s why I created The Healing Era Starter Kit—to help you start peeling back the layers of dysregulation, trauma, and sickness so you can step into your thriving and healing era.

4. Surround Yourself with People Who Elevate You

Your environment matters. If you want to grow, you need to be around people who encourage that growth. Find mentors, a faith-driven community, and women who are also stepping into their next level.

Who speaks into your life? If it’s voices of negativity, doubt, and fear, it’s time to curate your circle. Fill your life with wisdom, encouragement, and mentorship that aligns with God’s purpose for you.

5. Step Into Action & Build What Aligns With Your Calling

God created you with unique gifts, talents, and a purpose. That means you are meant to create, serve, and impact others—whether that’s in your home, business, ministry, or career.

Final Encouragement: You Are Becoming Her

You are not behind. You are not unqualified. You are not stuck.

You are in the process of becoming the woman you once looked up to. And one day, someone else will look up to you and say, She inspires me to become more. Keep going.

Love and a hug, Lea
